The robot tongs drives - not only for robot applications
The robot tongs version of the pneumohydraulic TOX®-Powerpackage is equipped with proven power bypass and end position damping.
With enhanced precision and adjustable flange mounting, these pneumohydraulic drives require no additional guidance or carriage for the tooling.
These drives are perfect for the TOX®-Clinching process or punching. Other applications are also possible.
The robotic press drives can be operated in any position.

Features
- Adjustment of the total stroke on the RZS, e. g. for the control dimension X during clinching, is realised at the TOX®-Tool using precision shim plates. A direct adjustment on the RZS is not possible. If this function is necessary, either the type RZK or RZH with total stroke adjustment is recommended.
- The end position can be monitored using a sensor for the dimension X, which is mounted on the end flange of the RZK.
- Including pneumatic spring, power bypass ZLB, hydraulic return stroke damping ZHD, defined end position stop with damping.
- Switch for dimension X can be mounted on working piston. Ready for mounting of end position monitoring ZHU or external linear position sensor ZHW.
- Valve block ZVX including approach stroke support and throttle “X”. Requires only two pneumatic connections for approach and return stroke.
- 6 bar design.

Versions RZHL and RZHO
The hydraulic cylinder RZH(x) is available in two basic versions. The type of pressure media used for the return stroke determines the type of cylinder: RZHL for pneumatic return stroke or RZHO for hydraulic return stroke.
RZHL: The hydraulic cylinder type RZHL can be combined with the TOX®-Intensifier X-ES.
RZHO: The hydraulic cylinder type RZHO can be driven by any hydraulic aggregat.
Available series
- Version 00: total stroke adjustment for the last 10 mm of stroke.
- Version 30: total stroke adjustment for the last 50 mm of stroke.
- Version 200: total stroke of 50 mm without stroke adjustment.
Features
Adjustment of the total stroke on the RZH(x), e. g. for the control dimension X during clinching, is possible by the total stroke adjustment (version .00 and .30). For version .200 the adjustment is realised at the TOX®-Tool using precision shim plates.
